Shell Moulding

BAS Castings employs the shell moulding system when the customer demands the ultimate precision from the sand casting process. Machining can be reduced, or even eliminated with tolerances of 0.25mm achievable.

Alternatively, by close liaison with our technical staff, the shell and alphaset moulding systems can be merged to produce a component with excellent dimensional accuracy in non critical areas combined with Shell precision and superior surface finish where required.
